The short version: Stickman Siege collects only what's needed to run the game and serve ads — a random device ID for leaderboards, gameplay analytics via Firebase, and the Advertising ID used by Google AdMob to show ads. You choose a username for the leaderboard. We do not sell your data.
1. Who We Are
Stickman Siege: Castle Defense ("the Game") is developed and operated by OrangeBerries ("we," "us," or "our"). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@orberi.com.
2. Information We Collect
Device Identifier
We generate and store a random device UUID the first time you play. This ID is used solely to associate your score with a leaderboard entry. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information.
Username
You may optionally choose a display name for the leaderboard. This name is public — any player viewing the leaderboard can see it. Do not use your real name or personal information as your username.
Gameplay Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised gameplay events, such as:
- Wave reached and game-over events
- Shop purchases and unit recruitment
- Tutorial completion steps
- Session duration and app launch events
This data is aggregated and used only to improve the game. Firebase Analytics does not identify individual users by name or email.
Leaderboard Data
Your username, device UUID, and best wave score are stored in Google Firestore to power the in-game leaderboard.
Advertising Identifier
The Game shows ads via Google AdMob (interstitial and rewarded video ads). To do this, AdMob uses your device's resettable Advertising ID (AAID on Android) and standard advertising signals such as approximate IP-based location, device type, and ad-interaction events. You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time in your device's system settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Approximate Location
Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob automatically derive an approximate (typically country- or region-level) location from your device's IP address. The Game does not request precise GPS location and does not access the Android location permission.
Crash & Diagnostic Data
Firebase automatically collects basic crash logs and performance diagnostics so we can fix bugs and stability issues.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- Real name, email address, or phone number
- Precise (GPS) location
- Contacts or device files
- Camera or microphone access
- Payment or financial information
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data only to:
- Display your score and username on the leaderboard
- Understand how players interact with the game so we can improve it
- Diagnose crashes and performance issues
- Show ads — including, where you have consented, ads personalised by Google to your interests
We do not sell your data.
5. Advertising & Your Choices
The Game uses Google AdMob to display ads. Ad serving is governed by the Google Ads Privacy Policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or a U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, you will see an in-app consent prompt the first time the Game starts. You can choose between personalised and non-personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time from the Game's main menu under "Privacy options."
You can also reset or opt out of personalised advertising at the operating-system level in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID, or Opt out of Ads Personalization).
6. Third-Party Services
The Game uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Analytics & Firestore) — data processing by Google LLC. See Firebase Privacy.
- Google AdMob — ad serving by Google LLC. See AdMob Data Disclosure.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — collects and stores your consent choice for advertising.
- Google Play Services — required to distribute the app on Android.
7. Data Retention
Leaderboard entries (username + score) are retained indefinitely to power the all-time leaderboard. Analytics data is retained per Firebase's default retention schedule (up to 14 months for raw events). You may request deletion of your leaderboard entry at any time by contacting us.
8. Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, email support@orberi.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. To delete your leaderboard entry, include the username you used in-game.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
